COLLABORATIVE EXPLORATION
A key part of SENSE is the idea of 'sensing the future together' a concept supporting the power of curiosity, proactive collaboration and exploration.
Retreat attendees are invited to try out innovations in technology, sample truly beautiful products and experience being on the frontier of a new thoughtful leadership. Have your opinion heard as you participate. Your insights will actively shape the outcomes - which in turn will inform our collective future. All projects flow throughout the event. They are fun, uplifting, thought-provoking - and optional. They are professionally organised and curated with us - all with the shared aim of advancing the wellbeing and talents of deeply sensitive people.

EXPLORING THE GIFTS
Deeply sensitive people naturally experience more of the 'gifts of consciousness' - which many in the general population also seek to develop. These capacities include: creativity, empathy, intuition, verbal articulation, spiritual and mystical experience. We believe these gifts combine to form a potential for subtle sensing, 'knowing', predicting and influencing.
Since sensitive people experience a processing style of depth, nuance, detail, self-awareness and articulation, they are very well placed to self-inquire and offer rich insights. As such, scholars, authors, inventors and companies who strive to enhance well-being and flourishing, consider SENSE a wonderful opportunity for focussed exploration and deeply rewarding conversation.
Furthermore, as sensitive people are often drawn to careers in service to the flourishing of others (e.g., caring /healing professions, creativity, spirituality and teaching) their life choices and lived experiences empowers them to guide breakthroughs in understanding the nature compassionate living, for individual and collective good.

EXPLORING THE CHALLENGES
The flipside to the gifts of being deeply sensitive, often means distinct challenges of a very personal nature. This underpins a much needed investigation into our wider experiences of sensitivity - in a holistic way.
Sensitivity, in terms of sensory processing, is a continuum among all people, it's an indication of how we each process our worlds - and some of us just happen to be on this more intense, highly or deeply sensitive end of that continuum.
And yet... there is often so much more going on too. Many sensitives also have physical sensitivities too (such as inflammatory issues, allergies, intolerances, fatigue). How all these aspects (sensory, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) intersect or connect, is as yet scientifically unknown - and therefore is often overlooked or even dismissed by those considered the experts. We aim to change this by bringing our whole beings, into the light of real, joined-up conversation.
As a result, a person may have a kind of overall 'sensitive system' and are perhaps even more prone to certain challenges. On account of their heightened awareness of social cues, coupled with a 'finely tuned' nervous system where they are more prone to worry, people pleasing, anxiety, overwhelm and burnout, whilst also contending with inflammatory gut and skin conditions, pain, headaches, allergies and dietary and environmental sensitivities.
The interplay of the challenges and advantages of being sensitive, is truly fascinating and provokes many questions around the interplay of humans and their environment, how flourishing can be cultivated and how best to nurture all children and adults across the lifespan.
